Sports Iridium Racing Spark Plugs
 Through
the regulation of engine characteristics and the implementation
of Denso-manufactured iridium plugs, racing plugs of two different
thermal values have been made available at Spoon. The speed of heat
escape is higher in plugs with larger thermal values, and consequently,
such plugs are characterized by rapid cooling. Accordingly, a thermal
value of 27 is recommended for high-load, circuit-type situations;
a thermal value of 24, for regular road driving. Note, however,
that higher numbers do not necessarily lead to increased power and
greater maximum speed.
